Welcome to Bagdad's FCCLA Chapter Website
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a well-known, Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that not only provides personal growth and leadership development but also provides career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Science (FACS) education.

Our MISSION is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Science (FACS) education; Focusing on the multiple roles of family members, wage earners, and community leaders. Members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.​
​
Our Chapter projects focus on a variety of youth concerns; including teen pregnancy, parenting, family relationships, substance abuse, peer pressure, environment, nutrition and fitness, teen violence, and career exploration. Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for; life planning, goal setting, problem-solving, decision making and interpersonal communication— all of which are necessary for the home and workplace.

1. To provide opportunities for personal development and preparation for adult life.

5. To promote greater understanding between youth and adults.
6. To provide opportunities for making decisions and for assuming responsibilities.
7. To prepare for the multiple roles of men and women in today’s society.
8. To promote Family and Consumer Sciences and related occupations.

We are a Lead4Change Certified School
We are proud to say that the Bagdad Unified School District is now a Lead4Change Certified School!
The Lead4Change Certified Schools program honors participating schools for their continued participation in the organization. To qualify we had our principal complete and sign the support statement. Our Adviser, Mrs. Rose, taught a Lead4Change lesson to an entire grade level in a Family and Consumer Science Class, registered, and they completed a project for two years in a row. As long as we keep on participating in the Lead4Chane Program, we stay a certified school! Thank you so much Lead4Change for this amazing honor!
